The 10th Moscow Urban Forum in 2020 will be held in the Zaryadye Concert Hall and Zaryadye Park: the business part is scheduled for July 2–3, the festival program is designed for 4 days, from July 2 to 5. This was announced by the head of the Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergei Lyovkin.

Sergei Lyovkin said that the main topic of the upcoming Forum will be “Cities-superstars. Lessons from Successful Transformation. ” He recalled that earlier at a conference on competition, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the capital embodies a competitive platform saturated with infrastructure, human, material, financial resources. About 50–70 thousand new jobs are created here annually, the volume of investments has doubled in recent years.

“Being on such an upsurge in urban development, it is extremely important for Moscow to establish an effective dialogue and exchange of best practices for creating a modern urban infrastructure. We have accumulated sufficient experience in the implementation of urban development projects, we have reached a steady pace of construction and the introduction of advanced technologies, so we expect that the chosen topic of the upcoming FFM-2020 will cause a wide resonance among the expert community”, said Levkin.

The Head of the Department added that, starting for the first time this year, the international congress Urban Health will be held in 2020 for the second time as part of the Urban Forum. Participants will discuss urban health issues.
