The annual volume of housing in Moscow will grow to up to 5 mln square meters
The volume of housing construction in Moscow in the coming years will grow significantly. This was stated in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta by the deputy mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government on issues of urban planning and construction Marat Khusnullin.
“Now the city is building at least 3 million square meters of housing per year, and in the years 2023-2024 we will be able to increase input to 5 million square meters per year,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The task to increase housing construction by a half to the builders of the country was set by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the February State Council in Kazan.
“Having assessed our strength and the situation in the capital, we came to the conclusion that this task will be accomplished,” said the head of the Moscow Construction Complex, explaining that a significant increase in housing construction is associated primarily with the implementation of the renovation program.
