The annual total contribution of the construction industry to the budget of the Russian capital is more than 360 billion rubles. This was announced during the Moscow Urban Forum by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for urban planning and construction issues Marat Khusnullin.
“The annual total contribution of the construction industry to the budget of the Russian capital is more than 360 billion rubles. The contribution of the construction complex to the economy of Moscow, taking into account the long-term socio-economic effects, is 16.9% of the total gross regional product (GRP)”, said Marat Khusnullin.
The deputy mayor said that about 11% of the working population of the city was involved in the construction and related industries of Moscow. “The construction industry is a driver for the development of the capital. Specialists of the sphere are working on solving complex, large-scale and significant urban tasks, ”added Marat Khusnullin.
Recall annually in the capital is built more than 8 million square meters. meters of real estate for various purposes, about 100 km of roads, dozens of metro stations, kindergartens, schools, clinics, as well as sports and cultural infrastructure.
