The Russian government will continue to work to remove restrictions and simplify standards in construction. In the future, it is planned to update up to three thousand more regulatory documents, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said during a meeting led by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He recalled that since August 1 of this year, almost a third of outdated construction standards have been transferred to the category of recommendation.

“Today, out of 10 thousand, we have 3 thousand became recommendations, and we considered almost everything the remaining 7 thousand, and 90% revised, simplified and made as close as possible to modern requirements. At the same time, work does not stop there, we still plan to bring 2-3 thousand norms into line”, – said Marat Khusnullin.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to prepare proposals to simplify permitting procedures in construction and “clean up” outdated norms and rules that impede the development of the industry.
