A green zone with an open-air cinema, a pond, an extreme park and sports grounds will appear near the Dream Island theme park. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government on issues of urban planning and construction Marat Khusnullin.
“The landscape park will be divided into zones – north and south. The North is more focused on outdoor activities and sports, and the southern part is on quiet rest and walks, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
According to the deputy mayor, in the northern part of the planned placement of playgrounds for futsal, basketball, streetball, workout, yoga, as well as the chill out area. For active walks and cycling will build a network of paths and paths.
“The southern part will include children’s play complexes, playgrounds for quiet outdoor recreation, walking and exhibition alleys with landscape compositions, fountains. It is also planned to create an artificial reservoir with a length of 300 meters and the arrangement of an open-air cinema”, said Marat Khusnullin.
The head of the Construction Complex stressed that landscape construction specialists are now carrying out a complex of works on landscaping the park. “About seven thousand trees have been preserved in the territory of the former park to them. 60th anniversary of October. Three thousand new trees and over 30 thousand shrubs will also be planted here”, added Marat Khusnullin.
The amusement park “Dream Island” in the Nagatinskaya floodplain is one of the megaprojects being implemented today in the capital: neither in Moscow nor in Russia as a whole have the parks of this level been built before. “It will be interesting to spend free time here not only for children, but also for adults. Regardless of weather conditions, guests will be able to ride the rides, relax, walk along the promenade and the territory of the landscape park with fountains, spend time in cafes and restaurants.
