20.07.2020

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of Russia will continue to work to optimize procedures and regulatory and technical requirements in construction, said the head of the department Vladimir Yakushev.

The Minister noted that an important step has already been taken in this direction – from August 1, almost 30% of technical requirements for the construction of buildings and structures will become recommendations.

“This work needs to be continued. And we really will continue it until 2024 and beyond – until 2030. But, translating these norms from mandatory to optional, we must always remember the safety of our construction”, – said Vladimir Yakushev.

According to the head of the Ministry of Construction, together with the reduction of outdated standards, new regulatory and technical documents will be developed that meet modern requirements.
