The number of outdated regulations in construction will decrease in 2021

05.08.2020

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree recognizing more than 30 regulatory acts and individual provisions in the field of construction and housing and communal services as invalid.

Among them – nine orders of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, regulating the maintenance of a register of specialists in the field of architecture and construction and the development of design documentation for the capital construction facility, specified in the department itself.

«These acts either contain outdated requirements or their provisions are duplicated in existing legislation. The revision of regulatory acts and the abolition of unreasonable or outdated requirements is under the framework of the «regulatory guillotine» mechanism, which allows to reduce the regulatory burden in the main sectors of the economy», – the Ministry of Construction said in a statement.

The abolished documents will cease to apply on January 1, 2021.
