The Russian government expects “warming” of the investment climate in 2020
The implementation of the strategy to reduce administrative pressure on the business will improve the investment climate in Russia starting next year, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The Head of Government reminded that in 2020 a “regulatory guillotine” will be launched, which will eliminate normative acts that have lost their relevance and hinder business development.
“This is a huge amount of regulatory material, and here we need to figure out what to cancel, and what still should not be canceled,” Dmitry Medvedev explained in an interview with Rossiya-24.
The Prime Minister believes that the effect of reducing administrative barriers will be noticeable in the near future.
“Starting next year, we proceed from the fact that these conditions for doing business, including business with the participation of foreign investors, will be better,” he said.
