Vladimir Putin ordered the government to take the control on administrative barriers reduction in the regions


Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to support the regions in reducing administrative barriers in construction.

The head of state drew attention to the fact that the small and medium business of the industry faces significant obstacles in the implementation of projects. He urged government members to provide methodological assistance to the regions in this matter and, if necessary, adjust work in the construction sector with the help of federal legislation.

Vladimir Putin noted that the transfer of public services to electronic form is a good solution to reduce administrative barriers, but it is not yet possible to fully switch to working online.

We remind, the issue of regulating the construction industry was considered at a meeting of the President with cabinet members on October 31 after with the publication of the World Bank’s annual Doing Business ranking. In the overall ranking, Russia rose by five positions  and took 35th place among 190 countries. According to the indicator “Obtaining a Construction Permit”, Russia retained the former 115th place.
