Voting for best city projects started on


On the Official Portal of the Mayor, voting for the best city projects in the field of culture, sports, charity, technology, the media and others was announced by the head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department, Sergey Levkin.

The event is part of the annual MUF Community Awards 2020.

“For the first time, successful initiatives introduced in Moscow during the pandemic are presented in the vote. In total, 44 projects that were implemented in 2019-2020 and had a positive impact on the life of the capital were presented at the choice of Muscovites,” said Sergey Levkin, adding that you can leave your vote for the most liked project until July 3 inclusive.

The MUF Community Awards are annually awarded for the most outstanding achievements in the field of urban projects and initiatives. The head of the department said that among the nominees – Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow Museum, Polytechnic Museum, Zaryadye Concert Hall, Yandex.Lavka, House of Culture on Sretenka, Sportules, Mobile Art Theater, Arzamas podcasts and others.

“This year, not only voting, but also the award ceremony itself will be held online for the first time. The broadcasting of the award ceremony will take place on July 5 at 20.00 on the site,” Sergey Levkin drowned.

 “At present, it is especially important to support and encourage initiatives that have a significant impact on a certain area of ​​the capital’s life,” says Arina Drobina, director of the Moscow Urban FEST festival. – In the future, these projects will become the driver of restoring the positive development of the city. Each of us has our favorite places in the city. Today we support a community of people who make the diversity of life in Moscow competitive with any other world capital.”
