Within the framework of the business program MUF-2019 will pass over 70 activities

The business program of the Moscow Urban Forum, which will be held July 4–7 in Zaryadye Park, has been published. The main theme of the FFM this year will be the quality of life in megacities. Experts will discuss initiatives that are aimed at ensuring a balanced and sustainable urban development, improving the quality of life through the implementation of large-scale projects.

According to the head of the Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow, Sergey Levkin, in total, more than 70 events are planned to be held within the framework of the Moscow Urban Forum – round tables, interviews, discussions and presentations.

“We expect that in two days more than 300 speakers will speak at Zaryadye – mayors of the largest megacities, leading architects, developers, representatives of international corporations. Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Ahmad Dahlan, Dutch architect and urbanist Reinier de Graaf, founder of the architectural bureau of MVRDV, Dutchman Winnie Maas, French architect Dominique Alba, general director of the Natural Park in Gardens by the Bay Felix Lo, have already confirmed their participation, ”said Sergey Levkin .

The two days of the FFM business program will be devoted to such topics as housing, urban environment, technology and balanced urban development through the improvement of transport and social infrastructure, according to the event website.

Recall that the Moscow Urban Forum has been held annually since 2011. Last year, seven thousand people from 68 countries participated in the business program. Forum events were attended by 38 Russian and foreign government delegations. In discussions and round tables 416 speakers participated, of which 125 were foreign experts.
