The chief economist of The Boston Consulting Group, Christian Ketels, believes that Moscow has changed significantly in recent years and today it can make a strong competition to other megacities of the world.

“As for Moscow, the city has changed a lot in recent years. It should be noted that Russia has radically strengthened its position in the global ranking of competitiveness of Doing Business, making a jump from 123 to 35 in the period 2011-2018. In many respects it is the merit of Moscow, whose share is 70% in calculating the rating. Now we can say that Moscow has become a competitor to the largest world cities, “the expert said.
