Digital technologies in construction will increase productivity by 45%
The transition to digital technology can significantly increase the operational efficiency of construction companies, says Elena Kiseleva, head of practice at Real Estate and Infrastructure at Strategy Partners.
“According to experts, as a result of the introduction of digital technologies, design costs can be reduced by 10-30%, inventory storage – by 20-50%, labor productivity – by 45-55%, forecasting accuracy – by 85%, and terms implementation of the project – to decrease by 20-50%, ”said Elena Kiseleva.
The expert added that digitalization helps to quickly adjust the business model if the old one shows insufficient efficiency in the current conditions, or to create a new promising business in related segments.
