The time for connecting homes to gas networks will be shortened in Russia. Gas suppliers are left with fewer loopholes to tighten the connection to the networks. The terms for processing the required documents were reduced almost twofold.
In this case, the connection to the gas will be carried out simultaneously with the connection to water, heat and electricity. This applies to both private houses and multi-apartment buildings. The government made its amendments by a special resolution, which was published on the website of the Cabinet.
According to experts, all this will also help revive the situation in construction. It will be easier to connect to networks – they will hand over the houses at a faster rate. And start building new ones.
“The main thing is that the adopted document clearly specifies what the gas supplying organization should do and should it receive documents requesting to connect to gas networks”, said Igor Kokin, an expert at the Scientific and Educational Center for Federal and Regional Programs of the Higher School of Public Administration of the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to him, gas suppliers now have less and less reasons to delay matters.
We can say that the changes are significant, I am sure First Vice President of the Russian Union of Engineers Ivan Andrievsky. “In short, innovations can be described as a triad: unification, acceleration, monitoring,” he continues. “Increasingly unified is generally the trend of our time.”
According to him, the connection of gas networks is now unified with the order of connecting capital construction projects to other types of networks of engineering and technical support. That directly and positively affect the final quality of engineering networks in general.
“Now the number of discrepancies, controversial and complex situations should be reduced, and the overall security level of the object should increase”, Ivan Andrievsky is sure. All terms (connections, examinations, etc.) are reduced, and in some cases, twice. The concept of “verification” is replaced by a more modern concept of “monitoring”, which assumes constant monitoring of the status of networks.
According to the interlocutor of the “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”, the builders and owners of the houses will not immediately feel the changes envisaged by the government resolution. Industries should prepare for them, but the fact that the connection time will decrease is a fact.
