About 125 thousand sq. m. of real estate commissioned in the city center YTD
10 buildings with a total area of 125 thousand sq. m. were put into operation in the capital in six months of this year, reported the Chairman Mosgosstroynadzor Oleg Antosenko.
“Among commissioned buildings we can name the hotel on Gorokhovsky Lane, the apartment complex on 3rd Lyusinovskaya Lane, the theatre “Magic Lamp”on Sushchevskaya Street and a number of others”, said Oleg Antosenko.
He also noted that a house and a bell tower on Stoleshnikov lane, 2, were recreated; they are situated on the historic site of the church of the Saint Unmercenaries and Wonderworkers Cosma and Damian in Shubin.
Representatives of Mosgosstroynadzor have reminded that 176 facilities with a total area of 3 million square meters are under construction in the center of Moscow. All works are under control of the Committee.
“754 checks which were carried out on construction sites of the central part of the city revealed 1608 violations over the past six months. As a result, builders were fined 11.2 million rubles,” added Oleg Antosenko.
Earlier, the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin said that due to successful implementation of the program “Urban Planning Policy” the government has managed to achieve a fundamental change of Moscow’s development ideology. It put an end to infill construction projects in the historical center and the existing urban areas, which caused numerous complaints of Muscovites.
