Sergey Levkin: the housing renovation program accelerates optimization of administrative procedures
The program of renovation of housing in Moscow will positively affect the timing of construction and help to optimize the administrative procedures in the industry faster, says Sergey Levkin, the head of the Moscow City Development Policy Department.
“The Moscow government is interested in the construction of the renovation program quickly, but without loss of quality. Therefore, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin decided to optimize the procedures that affect the construction of apartment buildings within the framework of renovation”, he said.
Now, the construction of an apartment building is about four years and requires 110 administrative procedures. The Moscow authorities intend to continue work to reduce them, which will positively affect the timing of the construction of new buildings.
So, the deadlines for obtaining the GPZU, the coordination of the traffic scheme and pedestrians for the construction period have already been reduced. In the near future, it is planned to shorten the terms for registration of land and property relations, establish a notification procedure for excavation work and develop a comprehensive scheme for engineering support of the territory, which will allow to connect renovation objects to various networks as soon as possible.
“The corresponding drafts of normative acts will be issued in the near future”, said Sergei Levkin.
