The City for Everyone online conference will take place on December 10


Leading urbanists of the world will become guests and participants of the conference “City for everyone. Well-being, health, sustainability”, which will be held as part of the Moscow Urban Forum on December 10. It will focus on three key themes: wellbeing, health and sustainable urban development. According to the head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy of Moscow Sergey Levkin, the participation of media representatives in the conference is possible in two formats.

“For journalists, it is possible to be present at the site in the Manege, where the Moscow speakers of the conference will work. The second option is to register for viewing the conference on the MUF website and independently choose the broadcasts of interest”, – said Sergey Levkin.

He recalled that due to the difficult epidemiological situation, the Moscow Urban Forum 2020 was postponed to 2021. However, the online format now allows you to exchange experience in the most pressing areas of the development of megacities.

“During the event, we will talk about the most successful practices of sustainable urban development with urbanists, representatives of the authorities of foreign and Russian cities, leaders of international organizations. This directly relates to the tasks to create a convenient and comfortable environment that Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin sets for us”, – said Sergey Levkin.

He added that 3.5 thousand people are expected to participate in the upcoming event, while more than 70 Russian and foreign speakers intend to make presentations and reports. The program will include more than 30 events: plenary sessions, panel discussions, round tables, interviews, presentations, international dialogues.
